Child Care First Aid HLTAID004 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting
This course is specifically designed to provide knowledge and skills in how to provide first aid in an education and care setting, including for asthma and anaphylaxis emergencies.
This course follows current Australian Resuscitation Guidelines. It is recommended that CPR knowledge and skills are refreshed annually.
This course meets current ACECQA requirements for Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Training.

Completing this course will provide participants with the following units
— HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
— HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support
— HLTAID003 Provide first aid
HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
This is a nationally recognised training course and it is recommended to be renewed annually. Upon successful completion, the attendee will receive a Statement of Attainment.
It is a requirement of this course that practical demonstration of CPR by the learner be performed on the floor.
